Primary Election Date and Polling Locations

STATE PRIMARY ELECTION – September 10, 2024

The Primary Election is an election by the political parties to nominate their candidate for the General Election ballot. No one is “elected” in a Primary election; candidates are “nominated.” To win a political party nomination, the candidate must receive more votes than anyone else in their party for that race.

Who should register to vote?

You should register to vote if you have never voted before or have relocated.

How do you register to vote?
