From our colleagues at ACLU

TAKE ACTION: Save Medicaid Now

The House of Representatives has passed a reconciliation bill that includes massive cuts to Medicaid and will take health care services away from millions of people, including people with disabilities. The bill now heads to the Senate, where we have another chance to stop it. We must take action now.

From our colleagues at Civic Nebraska

Call Congress: Stop Trump's harmful tax and budget bill

The U.S. House passed a sweeping tax reconciliation bill that threatens the entire nonprofit sector, including Civic Nebraska and other nonprofits. Now it's moving on to the Senate.

The bill would give unprecedented power to the executive branch to revoke a nonprofit’s tax-exempt status without due process or clear evidence — opening the door to political retaliation. It also proposes new taxes on foundations and nonprofits, draining vital resources from our communities.
