Legislative Update - April 11, 2016
Fewer committee meetings this week

The sixth week of the legislative session marks the half-way mark as lawmakers will need to complete all business by May 23, 2016. The next deadline that lawmakers are focused on is April 21 which committees must act favorably on major appropriation and finance bills. In addition, Senate finance targets are expected to be announced early this week.

This morning, Vice Chancellor Laura King and Senior System Director Craig Schoenecker presented to the House Ways and Means committee on MnSCU budget and enrollment trends. The video archive can be viewed HERE.
