Senate presents bonding bill in Capital Investment this morning

On Monday, the Sen. Stumpf (DFL-Plummer) introduced the Senate bonding bill in Capital Investment. The bill provides MnSCU with $70 million in HEAPR -- this is $10 million less than the Governor's recommendation of $80 million. In addition, the following colleges/universities projects were included:

  • Anoka-Ramsey Community College - Nursing & Active Learning Center and Humanities Building - $4,965,000
  • Bemidji State University - Academic Learning Center - $18,097,000
  • Century College - Applied Technology Center - $5,500,00
  • Hennepin Technical College - Advanced Manufacturing Integration and Revitalization - $8,231,000
  • Hibbing Community College - Campus Reconfiguration - $9,958,00
  • MN State Community and Technical College, Fergus Falls - Center for Student and Workforce Success - $978,000
  • MN State Community and Technical College, Wadena - Library and Student Services Center - $820,00
  • Northland Community and Technical College, East Grand Forks - Laboratory Space - $826,000
  • Rochester Community and Technical College - Memorial and Plaza Halls - $20,385,00
  • South Central College, North Mankato - Laboratory and Classroom Space - $8,600,000
  • Winona State University - Education Village - $25,306,000
