Congratulations to the New Senate President pro Tempore
As you know, Senator Monique Limón became the 50th leader of the California State Senate. Not only is she a proud UC Berkeley Class of 2004 sociology alumni, she has also worked for over a decade with UC Santa Barbara students as an advisor and mentor to help them achieve their professional goals.
We are grateful for Senate President pro Tem Emeritus Mike McGuire's leadership and look forward to working together in the new year to ensure that the UCs are a top priority.
