LHS Parent and Students

We are grateful for our amazing students, this quote encapsulates the resilience mindset we are seeing and trying to develop in our students.

“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”

― Nelson Mandela

LEAD student of the week

Grant Hess is Adaptable. I often place tasks and pressures on Grant that are often new for him. He never fails to impress me by quickly adapting to the situation and finds success. Willing to get the job done.

Campbell Gilbert is Adaptable and Determined. Throughout biology, Campbell has adapted to learning complex subjects. If needed he seeks out help from his classmates and teacher. He understands multiple ways to learn information, and is motivated to do so

Brooklyn Pace is Loyal.  Brooklyn is loyal to both the program and her peers. She was switched out unexpectedly but quickly got back into the class because of her passion for the show, as well as her friends in the class. Can always depend on Brooklyn.

Garrett Chaston is Loyal and Determined.  Garrett will surprise you the more you get to know him. Garrett is quick-witted, which shows in his work. Garrett represents Lehi well in the subjects and extracurricular activities he participates in. He's prone to moments of brilliance in class and at school.

Any students wishing to park on campus must have a school parking permit. You can apply for that here and then purchase in the Finance Office once you receive email confirmation that your application is approved. Only juniors and seniors can get school permits. Students will be ticketed for parking on campus without a permit, for parking in visitor or handicap spots, or for parking in prohibited areas.

There is limited street parking on Main Street and 300 North, on the school-side of each street. Parking in front of, or to the side of neighboring homes requires a Lehi city permit and could result in a city ticket. Parking is also available at the Lehi city outdoor pool.

Fee waivers are available to qualifying households to cover all school fees. Applications can be found here and must be turned in, with all required documentation, by September 30.

There is also the option of setting up monthly payments to take care of school fees, and you can find the ACH form on the same website.

The school attendance policy states that tardies must be excused the day of and absences must be excused within 10 school days. You may call or email the Attendance Office, or send a note with your student, to excuse those. You also have the option this year of excusing your student on Skyward for full day absences only.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
