Spikeball with the Pros

Taylor Church and Taylor Sanford from the Utah Round Net Association spent Thursday, September 12th at Lehi High School teaching students to play Spikeball. Taylor Church is the #1 ranked Spikeball player in Utah and when partnered with his teammate, they rank 8th in the world! They taught 150+ students each class period. The majority of the school got to experience it, including the A1 Unified Sports class, pictured here! It was an incredible experience for all of the students at Lehi High!

· Browse a list of parent resource links that can be conversation starters about many technology topics: giving out personal information online, cyberbullying, sexting, smartphone safety, and many more.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Construction is well underway! Thank you for your patience with the parking lot. The new athletic wing, including the main gym and the first auxiliary gym are now well under way. Projects are moving ahead as scheduled, and we are looking forward to their completion. District Events

Gifted Services Parent Night

ASD Gifted Services is holding a parent night with Joann Foster, Ed.D. She will be sharing ways to encourage and support children’s and teens’ development--including their well-being, capacities to learn, productivity, creativity, and more. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

United Way

Our Region PTA is hosting a district wide parent night with Dr. Matt Swenson. It will be held on October 2 at Skyridge High School at 7 PM in the auditorium. Superintendent Jarman will share a message about the district Vision for Learning and our partnership with the United Way and EveryDay Strong. Dr. Swenson will then share a message regarding how we can improve our students' social and emotional wellbeing.

Suicide Prevention

September is suicide prevention month. In conjunction, UVU is hosting a suicide prevention conference on October 4th, and interested parents are invited to attend. Please see the attached flyer for additional details.

Academics and Scholarships

Driver's Education

Starting this year, all students taking drivers education through Alpine School District will be required to attend a Zero Fatalities presentation with a parent. These presentation will be offered throughout the state and you can attend at any school. Visit https://zerofatalitiesut.com to see what dates are offered at each school. This is a state run program and necessary to attend with a parent to obtain a drivers license. See attached flyer for details.

Earning a CTE Pathway can lead to higher paying jobs directly out of High School due to experience earned in class. Internship is one of many CTE classes offered at Lehi High School, which will give the student direct work experience. CTE is a great way to get a jump start on a future career!
