School News

LHS Parent and Students,

We hope everyone had a great fall break. We are looking forward to the start of term 2 and thank you for all your patience and support for the first quarter of the year.

Sincerely

Lehi Administration

LEAD student of the week

Natalie Hadlock is adaptable and determined. Natalie works so hard to learn vocabulary and do all her assignments in class! It has been a privilege to watch her succeed as a direct result of her hard work.

Oliver LeSueur is determined. Even when labs are difficult Oliver gets the help he needs, then he immediately starts again and does his best. When Oliver gets stumped he just starts over and tries again. He works hard, and it shows.

Keahihawaii Nawahine is loyal. I appreciate Keahi's loyalty to both the high school and the football team. On and off the field Keahi sets an example of what a Lehi student athlete should be like.

Danica Durrant is Determined. Danica is one of my most determined students. She does everything at 100%. You can tell she takes pride in her schoolwork and grades.

Derek Blackwell is loyal and shows empathy. Derek has demonstrated loyalty to fellow students through self-less acts of service and regularly shows empathy to others while working on a variety of team-oriented projects. Derek is the best!

Spencer Orton is adaptable and determined.  Spencer has clear personal goals that drive his efforts and shows his adaptability when facing challenges in reaching those goals. When he runs into difficulty, his determined nature allows him to find success

Once Upon A Time

The fine arts department also has a concert, Once Upon a Time, for the elementary schools next Monday & Tuesday (24th & 25th) @ 10:00 AM

AP Students, it is time to pay for your AP test. You can pay in the finance office My  School Fees

If you are currently taking an AP course, please note the dates below:

Friday October 28th : LAST day to order exams in the Financial office or online.

Monday December 12th : Last day to submit accommodations for the AP exam.

Please understand that these deadlines and dates are firm and must be adhered to in order to take AP exams

Seniors time to order!

Seniors you can order your cap and gown, and celebration items online!

Josten's link to order online

Your celebration items, such as your tassel and Senior swag will ship directly to your home within 2-3 weeks. Your exclusive school announcements or photo announcements, along with your exclusive mascot tassel and custom school cap and gown will arrive at the school in the early springtime. Senior graduation rings and Letter Jackets will ship directly to your home within 6-8 weeks.

Sterling Scholar applications are due by November 1st in Room 238 by 2:45 p.m. If there are seniors that are interested and did not come to the informational meeting, they can go and talk to Mr. Gagnier in Room 238.

Any students wishing to park on campus must have a school parking permit. You can apply for that here and then purchase in the Finance Office once you receive email confirmation that your application is approved. Only juniors and seniors can get school permits. Students will be ticketed for parking on campus without a permit, for parking in visitor or handicap spots, or for parking in prohibited areas.

There is limited street parking on Main Street and 300 North, on the school-side of each street. Parking in front of, or to the side of neighboring homes requires a Lehi city permit and could result in a city ticket. Parking is also available at the Lehi city outdoor pool.

Fee waivers are available to qualifying households to cover all school fees. Applications can be found here and must be turned in, with all required documentation, by September 30.

There is also the option of setting up monthly payments to take care of school fees, and you can find the ACH form on the same website.

The school attendance policy states that tardies must be excused the day of and absences must be excused within 10 school days. You may call or email the Attendance Office, or send a note with your student, to excuse those. You also have the option this year of excusing your student on Skyward for full day absences only.

Yearbooks are now $75

Last day to purchase yearbooks and baby ads will be November 22nd.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
