It’s 2019! It’s a new opportunity to make internet safety resolutions that you and your teens can both live with. If last year found you complaining that your kids communicated with emoji’s more than words, it’s time to reconnect and make this the year you help your children build a healthy relationship with technology.

Chorale Masterworks Festival
On Thursday, January 24th, at Orem High School, the chamber choirs from across the school district, including the Encore Chamber Choir from Lehi HS, convened for 12 hours of rehearsal under the direction of Dr. Ryan Murphy of the Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square. Complete with a full orchestra, they prepared two contrasting settings of the “Gloria” text, one by Francis Poulenc and the other by Antonio Vivaldi. Both pieces are challenging, multi-movement works that are often only performed by collegiate groups or higher, but the students worked hard and put on an impressive performance. This was an excellent opportunity for collaboration in the school district and also gave the students the rare experience of performing high-level music with other talented musicians. This event has been happening annually for over a decade and will continue to take place every year, so don’t hesitate to come next year and hear what our Lehi High School chamber choir can do!
