With much of our class curriculum being delivered online in Canvas, we want you to know about a feature that allows you to be able to see your student's Canvas accounts and monitor their progress as needed. This is done by creating a Parent Observer Account. An observer account is a great way for you to find information about classes in Canvas and is a companion to the information in Skyward. Technology Resources for Parents
Our Alpine School District Team has developed a series of website resources for parents and students that can be used to help navigate the basics of online technology. To access these resources, navigate to our district website (http://www.alpineschools.org/), mouse over the Family & Students menu at the top, and then click on the Parent/Guardian Tech Tips link under the Parents category. They can also be accessed directly by visiting https://alpineschools.org/guardian-tech/. Once there, parents and students can access a Canvas Intro, a simple guide to Canvas Observer accounts, a link to our Technology Help Desk, and more.

Yearbook Deadlines
The last day to order your yearbook is December 4th. They can be purchased in the Financial Office or online at www.myschoolfees.com. All school fees must be paid in full or payment arrangements made in order to purchase a yearbook.
Senior Baby Ads can be purchased in the Financial Office for the following amounts:

Parents of 10th and 11th grade students in Lehi,
As you know, we have a new middle school in Lehi that will be opening in August, 2021. The new boundaries are expected to have a small impact on the high school boundaries as well. Since your student will be in 11th-12th grade next year, we would love to hear your feedback about the proposed boundaries.
Watch for an email next Wednesday, November 4. It will include potential boundary maps, a video explanation of the changes, and a survey so that you can share your feedback with us. The survey will be open through November 8 at 5 PM. We will also have two open houses:
November 4 - Lehi Junior High School at 6-7 PM
November 5 - Willowcreek Middle School at 6-7 PM
The purpose of each open house is to ask questions or clarify information with district leaders. Feedback about the proposal will be done electronically through the email survey. Anyone is welcome to attend either open house. If you choose to attend, please plan on wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
The partnership we have with parents is an important part of our culture in the Alpine School District. Thank you for your participation in this process.
