Congratulations to the Lehi FFA students on their success at the National FFA Convention

The Food Science Team was again high-ranked, placing 11th in the nation!

Lehi FFA's Amelia Morgan was 5th High Individual and won scholarship money. Her teammates, Caden Baines, Hannah Caldwell, and Alisa Inokuchi, all placed high silver.

The following students competed in Agri-Science Fairs and placed in these categories (divisions are different age groups):
~ Animal Systems Division 4 - Talia Linford and Abby Peart - 9th place in the nation
~ Environmental Systems Division 4 - Shelby Barber and Morgan Busk - 9th place in the nation
~ Food Products Division 2 - Lilly Larson and Afton Veenker - 9th place in the nation
~ Food Products Division 4 - Mataya Hugh and Holly LaRose - 8th place in the nation
~ Food Products Division 6 - Haley Thomas and Amanda Dubois - 6th place in the nation
~ Plant Systems Division 4 - Ashley Gonzalez and Aydree Peart - 13th place in the nation

Lindsey Webb received a silver ranking nationally with her equine project and earned scholarship money.

We had six of our former students obtain their American Degree, which is the highest level of membership that a student can earn, based on hours worked and money earned during their years in FFA:  Bryan Rasmussen, Marisa Nelson, MeClay Stewart, Danika Christofferson, Kassadee Jones, and Klayton Jones.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Lehi Ballroom Team who took sixth place in both the Latin and Standard show dance divisions at their competition in Pleasant Grove last weekend!!

Hannah Harris took second place overall in the individual syllabus swing division!

COLLEGE AWARENESS WEEK
College Awareness Week November 7-16 during FLEX and Lunch in Room 512. College Representatives will be at Lehi High School to help students with college applications for admission and scholarships.

There are 3 College open Houses on November 8th for USU, UVU and SUU. Students will need to apply for admission online the week before and bring an official transcript and official test scores.

Utah Valley University : November 8th 6:00-8:00 PM at UVU Grand Ballroom

FREEDOMS FOUNDATION AT VALLEY FORGE UTAH CHAPTER

Juniors interested in attending the conference in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania need to pick up an application in the counseling office.

Application deadline is Friday, November 16, 2018

The Semper Fidelis All-American Program

This program honors high school juniors who go above and beyond. Students will be chosen based on moral character and academic performance in addition to athletic abilities.

Selected students will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Battles Won Academy this July in Washington, D.C. and be honored as an All-American which is invaluable when it comes to resumes and college applications.
