State FCCLA Congratulations to our FCCLA for representing Lehi well at State and bringing home the following awards: Dylan Pinkerton- Instructional Design Video-Silver Medal 1st place-going to Nationals Audrey Bullock-Chapter in Review Portfolio-Gold Medal 2nd place going to Nationals Makelle Ware-Teach and Train-Silver Medal Cami Garett and Ava Christensen-Chapter Service Display- Silver Medal Celeste Hunt, Rebekah Leaberry, and Abigail Sanderson-Fashion Design-Silver Medal Kaylee Myler- Baking and Pastry-Silver Medal Cade Garett- FCS Food and Nutrition Assessment-Bronze Medal Jeanne Fairbanks won the New Advisor of the Year. for the State of Utah FCCLA. Requirements for this award include: -demonstrates a strong commitment to Family, Career and Community Leaders of America - promotes chapter growth over the years - encourages individual member's growth and development - has served 5 years or less as an FCCLA chapter adviser. Region Drama

Congratulations to our awesome Drama Department for their awards won at Region Drama: 2nd Place Sweepstakes 1st Place One Act Play Best Ensemble in a One Act Play Best Actress in a One Act Play - Katie Galvan 1st Place Contemporary Scenes - Stockton Yates and Katie Galvan 2nd Place Musical Theatre - Karsten Bailey, Ella Henderson and Olivia Baca 2nd Place Musical Theatre - Eli and Abi Archer 2nd Place Humorous Monologue - Kaiyan Snowden 2nd Place Pantomime - Isabella De Oliveira 17 of our students went to the medal's rounds and 30 Lehi students qualified their pieces for the State Competition in April, and the cast and crew from the One Act, Sorry Wrong Number, will also be competing again at State.

Utah State Language Arts Standards The draft of the PreK -12 Utah English Language Arts (ELA) standards is now open for public comment. This public comment period concludes on June 14, 2022.  Feedback can be provided online here.

Drill Tryouts March 28-30 - Mandatory tryout clinics from 5-7pm April 1 - Tryouts at 4pm. Tryout packets can be found in the front office.

Student Council Elections Student Council Elections for the 2022/23 school year will take place in April. A Parent Information Meeting will be held on April 13 at 6pm in the Large Lecture Hall. Elections begin April 18.

Graduating Seniors Graduating Seniors interested in taking pictures with the Lehi "L" will have that opportunity May 24 after graduation through May 27. The "L" will be at the school, in the north hallway next to the main gym

CTE Announcements

Lehi High School offers an Internship class for Seniors who are completing a CTE Pathway or have taken one or more CTE classes that correspond to their desired internship.This class is an opportunity for students to get school credit and a valuable work-based experience before they graduate from Lehi High School! PTSA Particulars

March Student Spotlight Dallin Johnson is a Junior at LHS. He has 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother. He works really hard in school and is a 4.0 student. He is really good at math. He loves building things and figuring things out. He loves taking woods and welding classes at LHS. He is on the LHS swim team and mountain bike team. He has done a mini triathlon and placed second. He is planning to do a full triathlon this year. He has a great sense of humor. After high school he is planning to serve a mission, go to college, become rich, and retire early.
