LEAD student of the week

Jayden Cook is loyal and determined.  Jayden puts forth full effort in class and is determined to succeed. He works well with others, and is loyal to his classmates by fully participating in group work and in class discussions. Jayden thinks deeply about what we are learning and is willing to share his thoughts and learning to help other students. He is a great model student for others to emulate.

Nathan Mayorga is determined.  Nathan has tackled this school year with gusto. He gives 100% even when the task is difficult and he doesn't give up.

Landon Hansen is adaptable and determined.  Landon is the epitome of a determined student. He regularly goes the extra mile to make sure that he gets his work done well and on time. He makes sure to ask questions when he is unsure, and contributes effectively in our class discussions. Landon demonstrates the best qualities of a model student here at Lehi High.

Benjamin Smith shows empathy.  Benjamin looks out for people. He makes sure others are included and feel a part of whatever activity he's participating in. He is a leader people want to follow.

Any students wishing to park on campus must have a school parking permit. You can apply for that here and then purchase in the Finance Office once you receive email confirmation that your application is approved. Only juniors and seniors can get school permits. Students will be ticketed for parking on campus without a permit, for parking in visitor or handicap spots, or for parking in prohibited areas.

There is limited street parking on Main Street and 300 North, on the school-side of each street. Parking in front of, or to the side of neighboring homes requires a Lehi city permit and could result in a city ticket. Parking is also available at the Lehi city outdoor pool.

Fee waivers are available to qualifying households to cover all school fees. Applications can be found here and must be turned in, with all required documentation, by September 30.

There is also the option of setting up monthly payments to take care of school fees, and you can find the ACH form on the same website.

The school attendance policy states that tardies must be excused the day of and absences must be excused within 10 school days. You may call or email the Attendance Office, or send a note with your student, to excuse those. You also have the option this year of excusing your student on Skyward for full day absences only.

Student council elections: Packets are available in the front office

And another meeting for just candidates who are interested in running on Friday at 3:00 in Carson Cooks room (179).

ART

LHS will have over 20 works of art created by our students represented. The show runs from Wed. March 15-Wed. March 29th.

  • The Reception and Awards Ceremony will be on Monday, March 20, from 7:00-9:00

Parking

We have sold out of our parking permits for this school year. Please remind your students, if they do NOT have a parking permit, or if they are a sophomore they can NOT park in the parking lot. They will get a ticket.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
