Dear LHS Patrons,
We hope everyone is staying healthy and well and want to encourage our students to keep working hard. It can be challenging at this time of the year to stay engaged in school responsibilities, but we are seeing many of our students showing determination and grit. Keep up the good work and have a great week Pioneers.
Sincerely,

Congratulations to our very own Principal Webb for being named the UASSP High School Principal of the Year! We are so grateful to have someone like Principal Webb at the head of our school. All of the time and sacrifices he gives and the love he shows to our school and the Lehi community is incredible! I think we can all agree he is very deserving of this award.

When excusing your student, absences must be excused within 10 school days of the missed class/classes. Tardies must be excused the day of the tardy. You may call the Attendance Office at 801-610-8808, email twandell@alpinedistrict.org or ksomerville@alpinedistrict.org, or send a note with your student when they return. Please include the first and last name of your student.
If your student is late to class and misses attendance, please encourage them to talk to their teacher at the end of class to get their "absence" switched to a tardy. We cannot change an absence without an email or note from the teacher.

January Student Spotlight

Chloe Baines has lived in Lehi all but the first 3 months of her life. Chloe has 2 brothers, one older and one younger. She is the daughter of Darwin and Amber Baines. She has the determination and tenacity to accomplish anything she puts her mind to. She has many gifts and talents, some of which are her love of dancing, volunteering at the Lehi Literacy Center, serving others, and participating on the Lehi girls golf team. Chloe recently came back from a humanitarian trip to Africa to help build a school. It was a blessing in her life to serve others and she is so thankful for the education she has received at Lehi High School. Through this trip she has learned to not take for granted the little things and blessings in her life. Chloe is currently planning a book drive and hopes to collect many children’s books to give to refugees in our local communities. Chloe has spent many years training as a ballroom dancer and was on the BYU Youth team for 7 years. She has participated in many different activities at Lehi High School including FCCLA, girls golf, the homecoming pageant, Hope Squad, PTSA member and of course going to school dances and games. Chloe is currently serving as the Miss Traverse Mountain Outstanding Teen and will be competing for the Utah title in February. Chloe hopes to one day become a nurse. She has applied to several schools in the state of Utah and is looking forward to attending college next fall.

This year we are inviting parents who have an Amazon account to select our school as a charity you would like to give money to. Smile.amazon.com is a way you can pair your account with the Lehi High School PTSA. We use the money to show gratitude to the high school staff. (meals, treats, gift cards)
The smile.amazon.com site will give a portion of each qualifying purchase to the Lehi High School PTSA. Simply go to "smile.amazon.com" and it will ask you which charity you would like to donate to. Our name is "PTA Utah Congress Lehi High PTSA."
You can Shop and Give - win, win for everyone.
