Inspiring a Community of Pioneers to Higher Levels of Learning
A s many of you know, Lehi is participating in a self evaluation in conjunction with our accreditation process. As a part of this self evaluation we are looking for a group of parents to participate in a focus group with the purpose of giving the school feedback in various areas. We have scheduled this focus group for Jan 11 from 11:00-1:00 . We anticipate getting great feedback from parents, who bring us a different and needed perspective of our school.

If you are interested in participating in this focus group please email John Hanks at jhanks@alpinedistrict.org

Helping refugees
As many of you already know, Utah takes in over 1,100 refugees every year. The Refuge services office in Salt Lake is putting together a girl's volleyball league. The refugees coming to Utah have gone through very traumatic experiences, and face more challenges daily as they try to become accustom to life here.  Volleyball would allow them to be a part of a team, and not only provide growth of their confidence in themselves as athletes, but more importantly as members of the Utah community. Because of their lack of skill, they do not feel confident to go out for their school teams.  The hope is that will change in the future.
I f you would like to donate any of the following to help this program please let me know!
  • knee pads
  • water bottles
  • shoes
  • sweats, socks
  • gym bags
  • Spandex
  • Any other volleyball gear/equipment
