Our FCCLA teams competed in Regions on February 11th. Congratulations to those who placed!
Congratulations!
The girls took 1st in Region this year. They won their first game in the State Finals and are playing in the Quarterfinals this Thursday.

The boys took 3rd in Region!
They played They had a great year! They finished up their season in St George last week.

Softball Tryouts
Softball Tryouts are Monday, Feb 25th at 5:30-7:30 in the gym & Tuesday, Feb 26th, 3:30-5:30 in the gym. P articipants need to be registered on Registermyathlete , and physicals need to be completed before tryouts.
Congrats to Hailey Caron and Halle Larson who are competing at state as Sterling Scholars on Thursday, February 28th. They interviewed at regionals at Westlake High School this past week along with Makayla Pett, Kaylee Harper, Jessica Craig, Lucy Pratt, Jana Trane, Madison Brown, and Kamarie Dalton. Congratulations to all of these students!

Ballroom Dancing
Lehi Ballroom dance team competed at the UBEA championship last Saturday. The UBEA tournament is the equivalent of the state championships.They placed in every team event, with the highlights being 2nd place in novelty, 3rd place in swing, and 3rd place in team match. And congratulations to Hannah Harris, who placed second overall in individual foxtrot.  
If you see a ballroom dancer, congratulate them on a job well done! And make sure to come see us perform on May 4 and 6 at our spring concert.
Tabletop Games Fundraiser
Table Top Games Club is going to be holding a fundraiser at Game Grid in Lehi on Saturday March 9th along with clubs from Skyridge and Lone Peak. It will go all day from 10am - 10pm. We invite everyone to bring their families and participate in a wide variety of board games, role playing sessions, and activities that will be planned for the day. All games and activities will be free to join. If people decide to buy a game, 10 percent of all sales will go to the participating clubs. People will also be able to leave donations to the school club of their choice. For more information contact Mr. Harrison at  juharrison@alpinedistrict.org .

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Construction is well underway! Thank you for your patience with the parking lot. For any juniors wanting to go to girl's state or boy's state, the applications are in the counseling office.
Girls State and Boys State applications are available for juniors in the counseling office. Also, seniors, we have scholarship applications in the counseling office and on the counseling website.
Current 11th grade (NY 12th):
January 31 & February 1: registration materials will be passed out in English 11 classes
February 6 at 2:45 pm - Skyward will be turned on to select
12th grade classes

The Semper Fidelis All-American Program
This program honors high school juniors who go above and beyond. Students will be chosen based on moral character and academic performance in addition to athletic abilities.

Selected students will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Battles Won Academy this July in Washington, D.C. and be honored as an All-American which is invaluable when it comes to resumes and college applications.
