School News

LHS Parent and Students

We are only a few days away from Prom and hope all of our students have a fun and safe time. As we approach the end of the school year we encourage students to be diligent and continue to work hard up until the last day of classes.

District policy has been updated regarding graduation. Only students that have met the graduation requirements will be allowed to walk at graduation. Thanks for your help and support.

Sincerely

Lehi Administration

L.E.A.D Students of the Week

Elle Matthews – Determined - Elle is determined to learn more. She chose to take a harder class and to do more than the required work even though she wouldn't be taking the AP test this year. She has a great work ethic.

Bridger Logan – Loyal, Adaptable, Determined - When many of his friends dropped the class, Bridger stayed. He adapts to difficult situations and is determined to do well. He has shown the ability overcome challenges. Even when he complains, he gets stuff done and done well.- Ricks

Sariah Estes – Empathy, Determined - Sariah is so fun to have in class! She works extremely hard to learn the materials and her enthusiasm for literature and writing makes me so happy. I love when she visits me outside of class - she goes out of her way to come talk to me and I always look forward to seeing her again during class transitions or lunch

Dallin Di Lello – Adaptable, Determined - Dallin is always working hard in class and is a great person overall. I like using his projects and writing as an example for others to get inspiration from what he creates. He is always quick to jump right into whatever assignment or activity we are doing in class, which encourages others to do the same. I love having him in class! -- Olsen

Alex Kendall – Loyal, Adaptable, Determined - Alex is in the creative writing class, and he is always so excited to be in class and learn what we're doing. He is determined to do his best in class, and is always looking for ways to adapt his writing to use the new concepts he's learned in class.

– Edith Sanchez Santos – Adaptable & Determined - Edith is such a hard worker. She is determined to succeed in any situation she's in, and is always willing to take the initiative. Edith is also highly adaptable, allowing her to find success in class, but at work as well. -- Mosdell

Any students wishing to park on campus must have a school parking permit. You can apply for that here and then purchase in the Finance Office once you receive email confirmation that your application is approved. Only juniors and seniors can get school permits. Students will be ticketed for parking on campus without a permit, for parking in visitor or handicap spots, or for parking in prohibited areas.

There is limited street parking on Main Street and 300 North, on the school-side of each street. Parking in front of, or to the side of neighboring homes requires a Lehi city permit and could result in a city ticket. Parking is also available at the Lehi city outdoor pool.

Fee waivers are available to qualifying households to cover all school fees. Applications can be found here and must be turned in, with all required documentation, by September 30.

There is also the option of setting up monthly payments to take care of school fees, and you can find the ACH form on the same website.

The school attendance policy states that tardies must be excused the day of and absences must be excused within 10 school days. You may call or email the Attendance Office, or send a note with your student, to excuse those. You also have the option this year of excusing your student on Skyward for full day absences only.
