Dear Lemon Grove Learners,

The role of the District Budget Advisory Committee ( DBAC ) is to support and advise the Lemon Grove School District Board Members, Superintendent, and other District staff and committees in the development, review, and revision of both short and long-term financial management plans that support the mission and priorities of the District as articulated through the Local Control and Accountability Plan ( LCAP ). The role of the Community Engagement process is to provide Parents an opportunity to participate in building innovative new programs that will offer students greater opportunities to acquire 21st Century skills.

The DBAC/LCAP Committee is comprised of community members, parents and staff to include representation of the following groups and organizations:
  • Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO)
  • Representative of each school’s School Site Council
  • Lemon Grove Teachers Association
  • Lemon Grove CSEA
  • District and School administrators
  • Board Members - Larry Loschen and Timothy Shaw
  • Various District staff - as needed based on the agenda for the month

This is a Community Engagement opportunity open to all stakeholders and is held at each of the school sites to improve access for our parents and families to participate.

Visitor Policy:
Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor sticker any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitors are not permitted.
