The Lemur Conservation Foundation hosts field schools throughout the year. Professors bring students to our Myakka City reserve to observe lemurs in a natural setting, as part of for-credit courses at their universities, allowing future primatologists to gain valuable firsthand field experience. We're delighted to meet and work with them, and further their interest in conservation and saving lemurs from extinction.

Professor Krista Fish has conducted several field schools over the years at LCF, most recently returning with Colorado College students for a week in February. We'd like to share a few of the wonderful photos taken by paraprofessional Elizabeth (Lizzy) Reece Baker during their visit.
