The Mortgage Purchase Agreement (MPA) required to be an NJHMFA Participating Lender is now updated and available on the NJHMFA Lender Resources Page.
MPA in its current form
has been approved by the NJHMFA Board and may be executed by your organization’s authorized official beginning 12/31/18.
Please note the following changes made since the last contract renewal:
- Lenders participating in the NJHMFA Homebuyer Program are required to sell a minimum of five closed, first-mortgage NJHMFA Homebuyer Loans annually to the Agency based on calendar year beginning January 1.
- Lenders participating only in the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System (PFRS) loan program are exempt from the five-loan per calendar year requirement.
