Proposed Amendments, New Rule, And Repeal

to New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency Rules

Attention Lenders: 

Proposed amendments, new rule, and repeals to the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency’s (Agency) rules, codified at N.J.A.C. 5:80, will be published in the November 18, 2024 New Jersey Register for a 60-day public comment period.

The proposed amendments, new rule, and repeals will also be published on the Agency’s website by clicking on this link.

The proposed rulemaking is intended to address certain outdated language and update the Agency’s single-family home loan programs to align with current industry practice. 

Interested persons may submit written comments on the proposed rulemaking, which will be accepted by the Agency until January 17, 2025. Please submit any written comments to:
