New Form Streamlines Broker Compensation Agreements

A new compensation form replaces two prior agreements and updates how sellers and brokers offer payment in residential transactions.

The Feds have expanded their Geographic Targeting Order (GTO), and it’s something agents should be aware of. The new rule now requires all cash or non-institutionally financed purchases under $300,000 to be reported. This will most likely impact buyers’ agents the most, especially in lower-price cash transactions.

Florida Statute 689.302 requires a seller to complete and provide a flood disclosure to a purchaser of residential real property AT or BEFORE the time the sales contract is executed.
