2022 FaithWorks
Parish Campaign Begins
“Abundance and grace
call us to be
generous and trusting”
The Most Rev. Justin Welby,
Archbishop of Canterbury
As we enter the gates of Holy Lent, FaithWorks challenges us to turn our attention to those who need our help. Parish support of FaithWorks was exceptional in 2021. In 2022 our Churches are beginning to reopen. Hopefully in-person worship and activity will continue to grow throughout the year. I ask you to continue to let FaithWorks be a part of your parish reopening and on-going life, whether your campaign is conducted during Lent, Advent, in conjunction with FaithWorks Sunday (20 November 2022) or at another time. Let FaithWorks be a part of your generosity and trust.
The 2022 FaithWorks Campaign materials were mailed to your parish last week. The packages include posters, brochures, donations cards and a campaign manual. They are designed to help you share the good news of the good work that FaithWork does. Digital and video materials are also available. (see below)
The materials include a donation card to support the Diocese of Toronto's response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Call to Action #82. It calls for the installation of Residential School Monuments in each provincial capital. The Spirit Garden at Toronto City Hall will be a place for teaching, learning, sharing and healing.
