Parish Lenten Small Groups
If you're not yet part of a Lenten small group, there is still time to get your group together to read and share based on the book "Be Transformed: The Healing Power of the Sacraments" by Dr. Bob Schuchts. Also, we invite you to join us in spirit by reading the book even if not part of a group. Whether in group discussions or personal reflection, this book has the power to enrich our Lenten journey. Copies are available for pickup at the parish office (cost $15). Embrace this opportunity for personal growth and deeper understanding of the Sacraments this Lent. We hope it inspires your faith journey as we all seek to be transformed.

Annual Catholic Appeal: Together at the Table
Now more than ever, the Church needs our steadfast support. Our participation in our parish’s weekly offertory and in the Annual Catholic Appeal is essential to maintaining the financial well-being of the Church.
Please consider signing up for online giving to the parish offertory and to the Appeal.
Just as we rely on your spiritual support, the Church continues to rely on your financial support to continue its work of sanctification and evangelization.
You can make your gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal online at annualcatholicappeal.com, or you can choose to send in the response envelope from the Cardinal’s letter you may have already received. You may also find pledge envelopes in both Queen of the Rosary and St. Julian Eymard Churches or the parish office. Thank you for supporting our parish and the Archdiocese.

YOUTH MINISTRY CORNER
In the spirit of this penitential season, Mr. Van offers this Teen Lenten Challenge. Each week he'll provide 2 of the stations of the cross, including a reflection for each station and then offer a penance challenge for the week at the end of each email. If you haven't already selected a penance for this Lent or would like to make your Lenten season even more meaningful, give it a try! (Adults can participate too! ) So, here we go...
Contact Mr. Van for the reflection for Stations 3 and 4. Your challenge this week: Reach out to someone you know who truly needs a friend, even if this person doesn’t measure up to your friends’ or your definition of “cool”, “awesome” or “chill” enough. Try to boost that person’s morale so they can continue on their journey the way our Lady boosted Christ’s strength to carry on!
Youth Ministry will again present the Living Stations of the Cross for the parish on Good Friday. Rehearsals will be on Sundays at 3pm and begin the first Sunday of Lent, February 18th, at St. Julian Eymard Church.
