Being elected an Elder by the congregation is an opportunity to serve Jesus Christ in leadership. Nominees for the Session Class of 2029, which is a three-year term, must be active church members who participate in worship regularly, support the church’s stewardship campaign, and use their time and talents to support the mission of the church. Will you answer the call to service for our thriving church? Or do you know of another member who would be an asset to our Session? Please submit your nomination at this link. Her memoir, The Choice, published in 2017, became an international bestseller. Chris Hazlaris to Be Keynote Speaker at Mo-Ranch
Our Director of Youth and Young Adults, Chris Hazlaris, has accepted the invitation to be the keynote speaker at Mo-Ranch’s “Summit 46” Conference this summer, July 16-19. Every year, this conference invites youth from 4th-6th grade to grow in faith together in the Hill Country of Texas through worship, small groups, recreation, and other spiritually rich activities. Chris just recently got back from planning the conference with a wonderful team, who together have announced that this year’s theme will be “The Great God Quest” – encouraging youth to seek God in as many places as possible in the highs, lows, and even boring everyday details of life. Congratulations, Chris!
