As you prepare to enter Lent, we invite you to consider how to deepen your faith life in coming weeks. Below are ideas for how to do that, inspired by this year's theme, "Tell Me Something Good: Grounding ourselves in the good news this Lent"

Lent was originally a season for new converts to learn and prepare for their baptism on Easter. During that time, they would study what was central to Christianity. As we enter this season, we’re asking: what are the core, foundational concepts of Jesus’ life and ministry? What makes each of these good news? Can we trust that the good news is truly good, even when it challenges us?

We hope this series will provide fertile ground for conversation and worship, rooting our hearts and lives in the expansive goodness of God. This Lent, may the teachings of Jesus lead us forward. Let the good news ground us. And let that good news inspire us to take action in a world desperate to hear, see, and taste what is good.

OFFERINGS

Daily Prompt Cards

Beginning with Ash Wednesday and continuing through the first few days of Eastertide, we invite you to use these daily devotional cards to ground yourself in good news this Lent. Each daily card contains a prompt, a “good news mantra,” and a prayer. You might place the stack of cards by your bed to read first thing in the morning or right before you sleep at night. Display the prayers that resonate with you the most.

Pick up pre-printed cards in the Narthex. Card content will also appear within our daily emails.

Devotional Booklet

This devotional offers commentary, poetry, visual art, hymns, and reflection prompts for the whole season of Lent. We encourage you to walk through these weekly readings at your own pace throughout the season, following the rhythm that works best for you.

Pick up the booklet in the Narthex. Booklet content will also appear within our daily emails.
