Fall 2025

We are excited to share that Hope Academy, a longtime part of Detroit’s educational landscape, has officially joined The Leona Group family of schools.

Hope Academy first opened its doors in 1998, and for more than 25 years, it has been dedicated to creating a safe, supportive and inspiring place for students to learn and grow. Families know Hope Academy as a school where goals are set high, where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential and where community is at the heart of everything.

By joining The Leona Group, Hope Academy continues this strong tradition while gaining the support of a system of schools that share the same goal: to provide quality education, empower young people and positively impact the communities we serve.

We’re thrilled to welcome Hope Academy and look forward to building an even brighter future—together!
