Dear SOS volunteers and supporters,

It is urgent that we continue to demonstrate our ongoing opposition to the city's Summit Avenue Regional Trail plan. There will be a vote taken at the end of the Parks & Recreation Commission meeting on Thursday evening and communicated to city council.

1.Please send an email opposing the trail with the subject line:

DEADLINE IS NOON Wednesday, March 8. Tell friends, family and neighbors to send a comment as well. For inspiration on what to say, visit and click Who Is SOS and read Our Agenda.

2.Plan to attend the next Parks and Rec Commission meeting. This is the only public hearing scheduled for this project and there is no zoom option for the meeting. There will be limited time to speak, but we invite you to join the line-up!!!
