Less than three months to Abstract deadline!

To all those considering attending the Island Invasives 2017 conference
As we slip into the last month of 2016, with 2017 almost upon us, we thought it a good time to remind everyone that the deadline for submitting Abstracts for the Dundee conference is now less than three months away (28 February 2017).

If you have not yet submitted your Abstract(s), now is a good time to consider what you would like to present to the multitude of ecologists, eradication specialists, managers, students and interested others from all over the world who will be converging on eastern Scotland next July.

Submitting Abstracts via the website ( www.islandinvasives2017.com) is easy, as is registration for the meeting - a necessary step before sending your Abstract.

Attendance may have to be capped due to space constraints at the conference venue, so to avoid disappointment please do register at your earliest convenience.

We are hosting a gala Scottish-themed dinner and ceilidh at a spectacular venue mid-week, and again places will be limited, so why not book your place at this event at the same time?

The website accommodation portal is open, offering rooms at a variety of locations and prices.

We look forward to seeing you in Dundee next summer!

About the Island Invasives Conference, 2017
This will be the third in a series of international conferences focussed on invasive alien species (IAS) on islands, their impact and management. It follows those held in Auckland, New Zealand, in  2001 and 2010* . The Dundee conference will therefore be the first such meeting for seven years, and the first to be held in the northern hemisphere.
