Each year Lowell High School’s College and Career Center, in partnership with Project LEARN, asks our community of volunteers and alumni supporters to take time out of their busy schedules and come to LHS to speak to our freshman and junior classes.
Speakers share inspirational stories of not only what they do in their careers, but how they got there, and the challenges they have faced and overcome. The goal of Career Speaker Week is to expand students' knowledge of different professions careers.
Through this annual event, we hope to open their minds and expand their future possibilities and aspirations. This year, we had over 90 speakers visit 80 different classrooms. We're so thankful to all of these local professionals who took the time they took to share their stories with Lowell students.
