CANCELLED - Quilts in the Garden
This year's Boldman House Museum "Quilts in the Garden" show has unfortunately been cancelled due to impending weather. The team regrets having to make this decision, and are sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused. They look forward to bringing the show to fruition in the future! Stay tuned...but you can still visit the museum at 410 N. 1st Street in Dayton during open hours - Thursday through Saturday from 11am to 5pm.

The Zaniac - FREE Performance at the Liberty!
Come see Alex Zerbe, "THE ZANIAC" live at The Liberty Theater in Dayton, Thursday July 2 at 1:30pm. Admission is FREE! Alex Zerbe, the Professional Zaniac is a physical comedian, juggler, and two-time Guinness World Record holder.
With the energy of 1,000 suns, Alex Zerbe moves like a rubber band from one end of the stage to the other. Beatboxing, juggling, dancing, singing, music and magic are just a few of the things that led Piers Morgan of America’s Got Talent to call this physical comedian, “The total package.”
The “Professional Zaniac,” who's been cracking jokes onstage for almost 15 years, zigzags between physical stunts and non-stop comedy. During the show vegetables are sliced in half by flying playing cards, flaming torches and bowling balls are juggled with ease and every audience volunteer leaves the stage in triumph.
Formerly of the award-winning duo Brothers from Different Mothers, Zerbe is a Hacky Sack World Champion, was voted The Pacific Northwest’s Funniest Prop Comic and is a two-time Guinness World Record holder. He's performed everywhere from cruise ships and comedy clubs to prime-time television in three countries, including “America's Got Talent!” and “Last Comic Standing. 4th of July Community Celebration
The Dayton Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to the 4th of July Community Celebration! This event is the celebration of our nation's 250th Birthday and to celebrate our community. Please join us for this free event at City Park on Saturday, July 4th, starting at 1pm. There will be live music, food vendors, beer garden and plenty of games for people to play! Bring the kids, your lawn chairs, blankets and sunscreen!

Foodstock 2026
Foodstock 2026 will be held at Blue Mountain Station in Dayton on Saturday, July 18, from 10AM to 3Pm
This year’s event features a variety of great eats and cool treats! You’ll also enjoy live music and activities, such as splashing down a water slide, making tie-dye shirts, stringing beads, face painting and playing yard games. Plus, browse the booths of local artists and crafters.
Admission to the family-friendly event is always FREE, so come and have a great time!
The first Foodstock in Dayton was held in August of 2015 on the anniversary date of Woodstock. The idea originated with Regina Weldert, who owned Rey's Roast. Since 2015, the annual date has moved to the third Saturday of July to coincide with Dayton’s Alumni Weekend.

Friday, July 17, 2026:
Evening: Class Float Gatherings - Alumni will start arriving to join their classmates, reminisce, and work on class floats to show their Bulldog Pride and compete for the traveling trophy in the parade on Saturday morning.
Saturday, July 18, 2026:
10AM - ALUMNI PARADE on Main Street - Show your RED and GOLD - Bulldog Pride
11AM – ANNUAL MEETING at the Depot Courtyard. Float winners announced, and a 50/50 drawing will be held.
NOON – Support our local restaurants for lunch or dinner
1-3PM – Pietryski/Dayton High School Open House. Walk down memory lane and reminisce with classmates while touring the High School
Evening – Class dinners and gatherings (organized by each class)

Dayton Ducktona 500
The Columbia County Parks & Recreation District is excited to introduce the first-ever Dayton Ducktona 500!
Join us Saturday, July 18th at Dayton City Park for a day of community fun, food, activities, and of course, a duck race for a great cause. Community activities begin at 11:30 AM, with the ducks hitting the water at 1:00 PM!
This event was created to bring our community together while supporting the future community pool project, and we hope it's the beginning of a fun new Dayton tradition!
Duck adoptions are available now through local sellers. For added convenience, we've also introduced a QR code payment option this year, making it easy to purchase your ducks wherever you are with PayPal!
