Let go, let God. This week’s bumper sticker reminds us to trust that God prepares our path in life. In a song titled “Let Go, Let God,” PJ Morton sings: “When I stop looking at back then…That's when things start happening…When I let go and let God…” We might let go of our past expectations, our control, or our worry. We might let God supply our need, our direction, or our very faith. We will explore the many ways Let Go, Let God might be useful in a life of faith.
Steady and faithful God, life can be confusing sometimes. Thank You for accompanying us on the journey, for laying the path before us, and for directing our lives toward good. Help us to know Your path; help us to stay onYour path. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
