Let Him Die!
I Want To Live!
They summoned us to the hospital on the premise that my nephew had taken a turn for the worse. We all know that when you hear those words from the doctors it means your loved one is no longer here or is barely here. We rushed to the hospital to be at my nephew's bedside. Although they told us that once everything was disconnected he would die within a few minutes, he lived without any mechanical assistance for 27-hours.
"We don't see your husband getting any better," the doctor told my nephew's wife. The doctor went on to provide a dismal future for my nephew if his wife proceeded with her plans to have them put everything back on her husband. She listened intently and then she spoke. "Put everything back on my husband because he wants to live," she demanded with conviction.
What I've come to realize is that when you place your confidence in man you may miss God. Although all the information you may receive my dictate otherwise, you have to stand on your conviction rooted in what God has spoken to you. Just like my niece-in-law, regardless of what someone else says, you have to be convinced by what God says.
You can't afford to allow the dismal pictures illustrated to you to take your eyes off of God. Remember for 27 hours my nephew lived without any mechanical assistance--it was all God. Never forget that man is finite in his wisdom and strength regardless of the expansiveness of his intellect or might. God possesses infinite wisdom with unlimited supernatural power to resurrect even the deadest of circumstances.
God always has the final say. No man on earth knows your destiny. Although the doctors said my nephew had died and was only being sustained on life-support measures, once he was disconnected he lived for 27 hours and he is still alive today. Wow! That was all God. You can't plan your future on man's words because they are limited, but the breadth and depth of God's Word has no boundaries--not even by death.
All of those situations that may appear to be dead and have no life, God is breathing new life in them. Reconnect them. Pick them back up. There is new life being breathed into them. God has sustained them even though you may have thought they were dead. Can't you hear the heartbeat of that book . . . that business . . . that song you left for dead. Those perceived dead dreams are demanding for you to revisit them. They have new life!
Just like my niece-in-law, demand with conviction, "Put them back on because my dreams and visions want to live."
