Bright Lights at the Park Slope Women’s Shelter
The Park Slope Women’s Shelter celebrated its 22nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 6th. Clients and the community gathered to cheer the season with the women and those who work tirelessly to make it a safe and happy place. They enjoyed cookies, hot cocoa, and local groups singing holiday classics. The cap for the evening was lighting the beautiful tree and the entire front yard and facade of the historical site.

Our Successful Holiday Meals Drive
Members of the Brooklyn chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority last month distributing some of the nearly 1,000 items they donated to CAMBA's Emergency Food Pantry, including 20 turkeys.
Thank you to all our neighbors, friends and colleagues who contributed this year once again to our annual food drive, 500 Holiday Meals for 500 Families . We raised $9,169 this year through our partnership with the Bklyner publication. CAMBA provides desperately needed food to thousan ds of hungry New Yorkers every month. Because of these donations from our neighbors, many families received all they needed to have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner — and for that, we are grateful for everyone's generosity.
