Creating Calm, Together
A Collaborative Resource for Mindfulness & Social Emotional Learning
Creating Calm, Together is a collaboration spearheaded by Resilient Lehigh Valley that offers an online resource for Mindfulness and Social Emotional Learning for students, educators, parents and caregivers. Wildlands Environmental Education Manager, Brit Kondravy (pictured below), shares what it means to have a role in bringing this critical support our community:
“Mindfulness and nature videos allow students to practice sensory skills, experience the wonder of wildlife, and gain awareness about themselves and the environment – wherever they are. The current crisis brought on by COVID-19 has only reinforced the importance of having community access to the restorative and energizing effects of nature, and Wildlands is honored to collaborate with such amazing community partners to provide that access.”
