Greetings of the Season,
We know many parents and children in our community are running on fumes right now. Quite simply, it has not been an easy year. We won’t list all the losses and disruptions caused by the pandemic, but we know they are wide and deep, testing our collective mental health and creating real struggles for families.
Our CATCH team has been working hard to provide much-needed support, and we are grateful to the mental health professionals who have partnered with us and to our friends, family and neighbors who have joined the effort.
CATCH has presented webinars, events, and video recordings for families with children of all ages throughout 2020. We have also connected families with social workers, psychologists and other service providers. If you need help finding resources or information, or just want a shoulder to cry on (from six feet away), reach out to CATCH. No one should go through the challenges of parenting alone.
While there is hope for relief from the pandemic in 2021, there is more work to do to help our young people build that all-important resilience. CATCH will be there for you in the coming year.
Best wishes for a year of good health, moments of joy, and strength to get through the days that are particularly difficult. Remember, it’s ok not to be ok.
With gratitude,
The CATCH Team
