Dear Friend,
In these difficult times, we are committed to enthusiastically serving our watershed community through education, stewardship, restoration, and advocacy. That’s why we have continued to share resources with you online, by mail, and even by home delivery.

Show your love for our clean water work by joining our Sustainers, our monthly donors. Your support would mean so much!
Your monthly contribution provides stability and consistency during these uncertain times, and benefits our entire watershed community in Philadelphia and Montgomery County.

What We're Up To

We recently hosted a conversation with local artist, Jay Coreano and Victoria Prizzia, Founder and Principal of Habitheque, about the process of creating nature murals along the Tacony Creek Park trail to inspire curiosity about this local environmental asset and its treasures. Jay created six murals on the trail that feature a butterfly, a fox, flowers, a turtle with baby turtles, a frog with baby frogs, and a deer.

Visit the murals in the park, take a selfie, and tag @TTFWatershed so we can see your #LoveOurPark picture.

Listen to some our favorite water leaders read children’s picture books about nature in the comfort of your home.
Bring us Along: Virtual Nature Tours
Our new virtual watershed tours led by environmental educator Brandon McCracken are available in English and Spanish.

You can take these guides along with you on your phone for a self-guided tour. Enjoy two tours of Tacony Creek Park and the newest tour at Ethel Jordan Park in Abington along the Jenkintown Creek!

Trash grabbers, bags, and gloves will be provided - though you’re welcome to bring your own. Register here!

Cleanups canceled in the event of heavy rain or thunder. We’ll send an email to all registered volunteers a few days prior, with weather confirmation, meeting location, and other important details.

Last fall, 235 feet of a concrete channel were removed to let this Jenkintown Creek tributary flow through a new wetland. This restoration project will slow down and reduce the amount of polluted runoff in this creek, which manages 42 acres of upstream area. WHYY even covered this exciting project!

Join us for this small, socially distanced family friendly planting. You can sign up for 1, 2 or even three 1.5 hour slots each day. Volunteers must pre-register & space is limited to 8 volunteers per slot. All supplies will be provided. This planting will be cancelled if it rains. Raindates: October 9 & 10.

Watch your email for Registration Information soon! Questions: Ryan@ttfwatershed.org.
