WHEN: Friday & Saturday, October 2 & 3 from 9am - 1:30pm
WHERE: Conklin Pool, 15 Church Road, Elkins Park 19027
Last fall, 235 feet of a concrete channel were removed to let this Jenkintown Creek tributary flow through a new wetland. This restoration project will slow down and reduce the amount of polluted runoff in this creek, which manages 42 acres of upstream area. WHYY even covered this exciting project!
Join us for this small, socially distanced family friendly planting. You can sign up for 1, 2 or even three 1.5 hour slots each day. Volunteers must pre-register & space is limited to 8 volunteers per slot. All supplies will be provided. This planting will be cancelled if it rains. Raindates: October 9 & 10.
Watch your email for Registration Information soon! Questions: Ryan@ttfwatershed.org.
