Parents Connect
Seeking High School Parents

Parents Connect will launch its high school group in the next two weeks, and there's room if you'd like to join.

Parents and caregivers of elementary and junior high children are already finding support and comfort while engaging in discussions about the challenges they face raising children with mental health struggles.

Groups are formed based on kids’ ages and scheduled around participants’ availability. We will run additional groups as they fill.
Learn from Experts
Exploring Anxiety

Anxiety is typically quite manageable, but there are anxiety disorders which are more serious, diagnosable, and treatable with therapy and/or medication. How do you know the difference and how do you handle each one?

In the latest installment of CATCH's video series, Learn from ExpertsDr. Amber May, Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist, from The Bloomberg Institute, Northbrook, answers these questions and more to help parents understand their child's anxious behavior, how to respond to it, and when to get professional help.

Cheeseballs
We’re a 501c3!

If you know our Executive Director, then you understand that she’s seriously happy about something when she says, “Rockin’ cheeseballs!” And this is a rockin’ cheeseballs moment!

Three years into our existence, CATCH is officially a 501c3 which means the IRS recognizes us as a tax-exempt, nonprofit charitable organization, and contributions to CATCH are tax deductible for the donor.

We are thrilled to take this step and are working harder than ever to bring more programs and resources to our community to help families understand the importance of mental health and feel empowered to support their loved ones. Emotional wellness truly provides the foundation for every other part of life.

Check out the CATCH Impact Report 2019-2021 to learn about our work.
Turn Our Town Green
Help raise awareness of mental health by joining Paws for Patrick and Turn Our Town Green for National Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

The group is distributing green ribbons to tie around trees as a sign to community members – especially youth – that we are here for them, we love them, and we support them in their mental health struggles.

Pick up your ribbon on May 1st from 1pm-3pm at the Village Green.

Paws for Patrick is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting young people to emotional support animals to help them as they cope with mental health issues.
