New season, new house looks. If you are thinking about or starting the process to paint your house, check out these best colors to paint every room, courtesy of Apartment Therapy:
  • kitchen: navy blue or something bold
  • dining room: an energizing color or a neutral, depending on the light
  • living room: something neutral and consider adding an accent wall
  • bathroom: bold and dark
  • bedroom: a color that relaxes you

Life Hack of the Month
The other week, we broke several glass items in our household. I am talking at least one item every day for a few days. After those events, I discovered this excellent hack thanks to Mental Floss: use bread to pick up glass.   • July 14 - Celebrate Bastille Day reading up on the history of the day, finding a reenactment, and enjoying some delectable French cuisine i.e. croissants, macarons, crepes, French wine (Chardonnay or Champagne), and French cheese (chevre, brie, camembert)
