News From the Cellar
Josh has been busy in the cellar with our red wines. Checking the barrels is an important part of the planning process that takes time and attention to detail, plus it's also fun!

Winemaking is such a beautiful combination of science and art!

Periodically we pull our barrels down to taste through them, check the chemistry, make adjustments and start blending. Here is Josh pulling a sample.
Each red wine follows a different program for how to maintain it over its time in the barrel and to see what we do next. Each wine and vintage is different!

Vine Changes
The vines are growing like crazy and we are in the very important growth phase of flowering and fruit setting (when the flower forms a berry through fertilization)! We are busy keeping the vines tied up and monitoring the vines for any disease and pressure.
