Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day
This is the highlight of Baynanza. Join thousands of volunteers and help remove tons of trash from the shorelines and nearby islands of Biscayne Bay. Party for the Planet @ Zoo Miami
Join us from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a mobile in-park scavenger hunt to save our planet from environmental threats. Visitors who complete the scavenger hunt can redeem their special Zoo Miami-themed prize. Make sure to visit our sponsor booths to learn about the different ways you can help the environment. Project Drawdown
On April 22 at 2 pm ET join Matt Scott, who leads storytelling at Project Drawdown, for a webinar on how to tap the power of climate stories to help reach drawdown. Hear from the 11 climate solutions heroes from Drawdown’s Neighborhood,a new series of short documentaries beginning in Pittsburgh, and get ideas for how you can help end the climate crisis.
Young ocean advocates ages 15-22 from around the world are invited to apply. The YLC plays a key role in leading EarthEcho’s education programs while developing and implementing campaigns to mobilize young people worldwide. Through this unique experience, members have an opportunity to grow as environmental leaders and build connections with peers and EarthEcho partners working around the world to protect and restore our ocean planet.
Through this unique experience, Ambassadors become community scientists and lead ongoing water quality monitoring efforts through the EarthEcho Water Challenge, a global water quality monitoring program that has engaged 1.6 million participants in 146 countries. Ambassadors collaborate with and learn from a network of young people passionate about protecting local waterways and lead events to educate their communities about the importance of waterway conservation. Join Our Parent Advisory Committee
DIG is searching for parents of students in Miami-Dade and Broward County that are interested in working with our staff and Board to inform and advance our Green Schools Challenge program for the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking for ambassadors that will help spread the word about the benefits of a more robust environmental literacy curriculum for pre-K through 12th-grade students.
