May 19th is World Family Doctor Day (WFDD)! Join the Alberta College of Family Physicians (ACFP) in celebrating WFDDright here in Alberta and around the globe.

This year, the Government of Alberta (GOA) has declared May 19th, 2026 as World Family Doctor Day in the province.

With family physicians providing 70% of health care across Alberta and Canada, WFDD presents an opportunity to thank them for being a trusted and consistent source of patient-centred care. This day is a reminder to celebrate their dedication and renew public support for their invaluable contributions.
