2022 Foundation Night

"This will be your traditional Foundation Night, but then again......not."
 
Lauren Mescon, Foundation VP Fundraising, is right when she said the above. Foundation Night 2022 will be a night to remember for a very long time. After two very long and weary years of COVID, we will finally have the chance to meet in person and paint the town red.
 
This year's Foundation Night is not designed to keep you in your seats. Oh, no! We want you to get up and mingle with FAWCO friends, join in the costume contest, grab your favorite numbers from the 144 envelope walls, check out and bid on the many Silent Auction items, raise your hands high during the very impressive Live Auction and dance to the music of DJ ChiQa until all hours!
  
Foundation Night will prove to be stellar in both its concept and implementation.The evening begins at 18:00 (6pm) CET when most Silent Auction items can be viewed. Cocktails are at 19:00 (7pm) followed by dinner and the Live Auction.

Only TWO steps and you are on your way to the party!

STEP 1: Everyone who wants to participate in person in Luxembourg should register for the 2022 FAWCO Interim Meeting.
 
STEP 2: Once you are registered for the AGM, you will need to register for OneCause. This will be the ONLY way to bid on all Silent Auction items - whether they are onsite or online.
 
DON'T PANIC: If you are unable to join us in Luxembourg, you can still bid on the Silent Auction items to your heart's content. Register on OneCause and view ALL donated Silent Auction items.
 
By the way, all items in the Silent Auction are available for preview NOW.

Foundation Night and Self-Tests

  As a courtesy to other participants, we would like to ask you to consider bringing and taking a self-test prior to Foundation Night so that we can all dance like they did in the roaring ’20s and feel safe doing it!


Silent Auction ONLY on OneCause
The Foundation has the perfect solution: OneCause - a powerful platform that allows us to fundraise with our popular Silent Auction via online bidding. Registration for the Silent Auction will remain open until May 20 at 20:00 (8 pm) CET. This gives you plenty of time to preview items and virtual experiences and bid at your leisure.
 

And, of course, the Silent Auction is only successful if there are items to bid on.
Please consider making a donation of an item, workshop or a fun lecture.
Live Auction: Live and Sealed Bids
The Live Auction will take place Friday evening, May 20.

Unique items including two week-long stays at destinations in Switzerland, a one-week stay at a Belgian Coast home, and a four-night stay in Dubai can be yours for the right bid!

Costume Contest




You can dress anyway you like, just dress!
144 Envelopes
Picture a wall of envelopes numbered sequentially from 1 to 144. The goal is to fill each envelope with a currency value corresponding to the number on the envelope: $1 goes in the envelope marked "1", $50 goes into the envelope marked "50" and so on, all the way up to 144.
Several lucky envelope takers will receive prizes!

2022 FAWCO Friendship Quilt

Raffle Tickets are now available for the 2022 Friendship Quilt, "The Blue Bird of Happiness." Take your chance...or many chances...to become the owner of this fabulous quilt designed and quilted by Roberta Z. and sewn by over 30 talented quilt square donors. Quilt tickets are available NOW via OneCause.
The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday, May 20th at the end of the last general session.

2022 Foundation Benefactors
We can all be Benefactors!
As with all the Foundation's efforts in 2021 and 2022, the longstanding Foundation Benefactor program has gone virtual. We want to recognize all those who make a donation via the OneCause “Donate” tab in the Silent Auction as Foundation Benefactors. Register for and visit the Silent Auction and DONATE for as little as $20! It's as simple as that! The "Donate" tab is live NOW. Benefactors will be listed with first name and last initial on the Foundation website or remain anonymous if they so choose.
