DyAnn Quinlan grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming. Due to her husband’s career, she has lived in many states. When the opportunity to return to Florida was presented in 2017, there was no hesitation in making a final move. The Quinlan’s fell in love with Fellsmere, and quickly made it their home. DyAnn loves living in Indian River County. Exploring all that the Treasure Coast has to offer, along with enjoying the cuisine at local restaurants is among her favorite adventures. Her children and grandchildren are the center of her heart. Other pastimes include reading, caring for her hobby farm, drawing, painting, attending concerts and plays, and creating new friendships.

The Residential closed sales of single-family detached homes totaled 363 units for May 2021. This compares to a total of 224 units in May 2020. The median price of single-family detached homes sold by members of the REALTORS? Association of Indian River County MLS for May 2021 was $340,000. This compares to a median price of $267,500 for May 2020. Current active inventory of residential single-family detached homes total 431 for May 2021. This compares to the active inventory of 1,468 for May 2020.

The Residential closed sales of condominium homes totaled 128 units for May 2021. This compares to a total of 45 units in May 2020. The median price of condominium homes sold by members of the REALTORS? Association of Indian River County MLS for May 2021 was $218,500. This compares to a median price of $156,900 for May 2020. With home costs rising across the country, one-in-five prospective homebuyers cite low taxes as a primary reason for leaving one state and moving into another.
And Florida, with no income tax and the nation’s seventh-lowest overall tax rate, benefits through “in migration” – for every seven people who moved into Florida between 2013-20, only one left, according to a recently published analysis by Redfin.com, a tech real estate brokerage firm. Broker Carolyn Mac Evoy and Mac Evoy Realtor Priscilla Warren, attended 1st ever Treasure Coast Wide Summer Speaker Panel designed exclusively for top producing realtors in our region. It was a three-county meeting (Indian River County, St. Lucie County, & Martin County) on upcoming developments, including: learning about what roads and commercial project are set to happen in 2021; and understanding the similarities and differences in the counties in a new light. Plus, explore new offerings from each county and more. The meeting took place at the Castle, a historic building in Fort Pierce. We enjoyed lunch and a tour of the newly renovated historic castle on the hill.
