NAMIC is pleased to announce our 2023 award recipients. The awardees will be celebrated at the Annual Awards Luncheon Ceremony on Wednesday, September 20, 11:30 am - 1:00 p.m., during the 37th Annual NAMIC conference at the New York Marriott Marquis. This year’s theme, “Our Legacy, A Mosaic of Possibilities,” honors NAMIC’s efforts to empower diversity, equity, access, and inclusion in the media, entertainment, and technology industries, something each of the recipients embodies.


Next Generation Leader Awards- represents the industry’s top honor by recognizing the best-of-the-best. These industry leaders have distinguished themselves as thought leaders, trendsetters, and change agents. They embody the NAMIC mission and have actively worked to advance multi-ethnic diversity in the industry by educating, advocating, and empowering people and organizations.


The 2023 Honorees are:

The Luminary Awards- honor up-and-coming leaders who show the most potential to become tomorrow’s movers and shakers. They are the rising stars in our industry who demonstrate strong leadership skills and embrace NAMIC’s mission by working to advance multi-ethnic diversity.

The Diversity in Technology Award- recognizes a leader of diverse ethnicity or race who has contributed to the advancement of digital innovation, customer experience, connectedness, digital infrastructure, operations, or intelligence in the media, entertainment, and tech industries. The NAMIC Diversity in Technology Award is presented in partnership with the Society of Cable Television Engineers (SCTE) and Multichannel News.
