Let's finish the year off strong!

A letter from our Executive Director

As 2023 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting our work and caring for those living unhoused in our community.

This year to date alone, we've sheltered 136 individuals, 15% of which are minors. We have seen a larger aging population, with many people entering homelessness for the first time. Nearly 30% of our clients are age 55 and over, most with chronic health conditions.

In spite of massive barriers and a lack of low income housing in our valley, we were successful in transitioning 31 clients to housing in 2023.

We're doing everything we can to meet the growing need and we appreciate your continued support. Our Snoqualmie Valley community is so beautifully unique and so many of you have partnered with us every step of the way.

As we look to the new year, we're hoping to finish 2023 off strong. Will you help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 by year end? Your generous donation will fund our mission, support our programs, and create many more move-in dates for our clients transitioning to housing.

It's an honor to lead our team in serving our unhoused neighbors. Please take a moment to read more about our successes below.

We wish you all many blessings in the New Year!

2023: The Year of Housing

Since January, we've supported 31 individuals as they moved into stable housing. Many of those successes were only possible through the hard work of our shelter staffing team and of our Housing Case Manager, Kellie Parker.

Kellie spends endless hours advocating for housing on behalf of our clients. In partnership with Plymouth Housing, she's been even more successful recently in helping people find their way home.

Kim's Story

One of our beloved shelter clients recently moved into a Plymouth Housing property and decided to share her story. What beauty, vulnerability, resilience, and excitement she shows! (Her segment begins at 2 min, 12 sec.)

Thank you to Plymouth Housing for helping Kim share her story. We're endlessly proud of her!
