micros
"Micro" - this word is everywhere these days.  Microprocessors revolutionized computing power, microbrews reinvigorated the brewing industry and eating more micronutrients helped all of us reenergize our bodies!

Juice Plus+ has always provided an easy way to get more micronutrients in our bodies and the Tower Garden continues to build on that legacy by helping us easily grow microgreens. This edition pays homage to the power of micros in our world.

We recently introduced our Micro Greens extension kit for our Tower Gardens. Our extension kit provides room to grow 32 individual petite baby greens.

The tiny leaves of microgreens are known to produce a more robust flavor than the mature plant.  Microgreens are a favorite of many top chefs. Did you know that by adding fresh microgreens as a top garnish or sandwich or salad topper, you can add "top chef" flair to everyday cooking?

Watch our Chief Technology Officer Tim Blank showcase this next phase of growing up with the Tower Garden! (video will play in FB)
Babies: microhumans!

dr corocan
While it's probably a stretch to call our babies "microhumans," it's a fact that they can all benefit from micronutrition. Moms that eat well pass those nutrients on to their children. After they're born, our kids continue to need nutrient dense food to fuel their growing bodies.

In this video, Dr. John Corcoran, OB/GYN, addresses the need to eat fruits and vegetables as part of a maternity diet to ensure a healthy pregnancy.  Dr. Corcoran remarks, "I was extremely impressed with Juice Plus+ and incorporated it into my personal life and medical practice with outstanding results. Today, I continue to educate as many people as I can about the preventative and healing benefits of whole-food nutrition and a healthy lifestyle supported by Juice Plus+."

Bonus: read how Dr. Mitra Ray experienced the power of Juice Plus+ in her pregnancies, and the advice she gives to expecting moms.

Microfood to make today!

Add nutrient-dense, tiny chia seeds to your diet today. They pack a punch of energy-boosting power... Aztec warriors ate chia seeds to give them high energy and endurance. They said just one spoonful of chia could sustain them for 24 hours. Chia means "strength" in the Mayan language, and chia seeds were known as "runners' food" because runners and warriors would use them as fuel while running long distances or during battle.

Chia seeds benefits include promoting healthy skin, reducing signs of aging, supporting the heart and digestive system, building stronger bones and muscles, and more.  They've even been linked to helping reverse diabetes.
