Valentine's for Veterans is an experience not to be missed! Community members of all ages gather at Bend Church—United Methodist between 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. to spend a heartfelt morning making handmade Valentine's Day cards for U.S. Veterans. It's a great chance to connect with other folks and give back on this special day!

Camp Fire provides all materials for this free, public event! Completed cards will be delivered to service members at the regional veterans hospital on Valentine's Day.

While crafting away this year, everyone will get to hear firsthand about serving in the military, thanks to Camp Fire's guest speaker and local veteran, Dennis Guthrie, who served as a U.S. Army medic in Vietnam.

NO SCHOOL DAY CAMP ON MLK JR. NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE

For all you families with kiddos who are out of school on January 19, Camp Fire is offering its No School Day Camp on this national holiday! Campers will be joining our Valentine's for Veterans event, plus learning about civic engagement and what it means to give service in this oh-so-memorable way!
