Riders

Public transit is more than a ride on the bus; it’s a destination for continued growth in our community. When we invest in transit, we are investing in a stronger future for Washington County.

Across Pennsylvania, public transportation systems like Freedom Transit face challenges as funding limitations impact our ability to serve the people who live, work, learn, and play in Washington County.

We’re proud to be the transit provider for our community, and our growing fixed route ridership reflects the increasing need for reliable, affordable transportation. Riders are choosing us, and we’re committed to serving them.

In Washington County, we see firsthand how access to dependable transportation helps individuals and families thrive. Transit supports workforce development, expands access to education, and connects riders to essential human services.

Want to help secure the future of transit? Contact your elected officials and tell them reliable transit is important to you and our community. Together, we can keep Washington County moving forward.
