From injury prevention to advanced treatment options, our Sports Medicine team is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals of all ages and skill levels recover from injury and return to the activities they love. 

Led by board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Christopher Schumacher, our team offers specialized care for sports-related injuries and conditions. We treat everything from knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries, to muscle tears and fractures. We believe that the best outcomes happen when care is coordinated, which is why we work closely with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare providers to offer a team approach to your recovery.

• Prepare your body for colder days—don’t skip warm-ups.
• Wear supportive footwear to reduce slip-and-fall risks.
• Keep walkways clear of wet leaves and debris.
• Strengthen core + legs for better balance.
• Hydrate! Cooler weather can mask dehydration.
